| The Vest | |
| This revolutionary vest design was created for the sportsman on the go! Say good-bye to “threading the front legs” through the leg holes on conventional vests! The clam-shell design with adjustable quick release buckles goes on quickly and comes off quicker! Your dog is protected through the rib cage by two separate pieces consisting of 3.5 layers of nylon each. That’s 7 layers total! Integral front upper leg guards add extra protection and for those requiring the ultimate in protection, the optional inner leg guards simply Velcro into place onto the comfortable “pile” surface that acts as an additional layer of protection to the sternum. Our double layer 1682 ballistic nylon inner and outer layers sandwich an inner nylon stitched lap-design nylon web that is impenetrable by any tusk no matter how long or sharp. The quick release nylon buckles are the same ones used in the manufacture of mountain climbing equipment and firefighting gear. For breath-ability, we’ve incorporated a wide nylon mesh panel along the top of the vest that also facilitates comfort and fit. The 100% nylon construction means long life, low wear, and best of all minimal water retention, therefore preventing drowning due to saturation as with felt products. As a side benefit it will retain enough water to aide in cooling the dog for short periods of time with a fraction of extra weight. |

| Strong, yet lightweight and well balanced, our lobed collars feature the ultimate in comfort and protection. Designed to work alone they are well balanced to ensure stability allowing the quick release buckle to remain at the back of the neck and the vulnerable throat area a smooth, uncluttered shield. They dovetail efficiently with the Armadillo vests and are adjustable from 16” to 26” and can be quickly fitted to virtually all standard neck sizes. The Velcro tabs facilitate the ease of application, especially important when rigging dogs ready to go! Leading and tracking collars can be easily incorporated into the system, however to maintain the protective constitution and proper fit, these collars are not designed to be used as a regular (control) collar and therefore do not offer a place to hook a lead, shank, or tie-out chain. | |
